अध्याय १६ — शङ्कर-उमा-वरदानम् तथा तण्डि-स्तुतिः (Śaṅkara–Umā Boon-Granting and Taṇḍi’s Hymn)

यं च वेदविदो वेद्यं वेदान्ते च प्रतिष्ठितम्‌ । प्राणायामपरा नित्यं यं विशन्ति जपन्ति च

yaṃ ca vedavido vedyaṃ vedānte ca pratiṣṭhitam | prāṇāyāmaparā nityaṃ yaṃ viśanti japanti ca ||

Vāyu sprach: „Jene Wirklichkeit, die die Kenner der Veden erkennen sollen und die im Vedānta fest gegründet ist: In dieses ewige Prinzip treten die dem Prāṇāyāma ergebenen Übenden unablässig ein; darauf meditieren sie und wiederholen (seine heilige Formel).“
