शृणु मन्त्रविधिं कृत्स्नं प्रोच्यमानं मयानघ । य॑ श्रुत्वा पाण्डवश्रेष्ठ सर्वपापै: प्रमुच्यते

Transliteration

śṛṇu mantravidhim kṛtsnaṃ procyamānaṃ mayānagha | yaḥ śrutvā pāṇḍavaśreṣṭha sarvapāpaiḥ pramucyate ||

Translation

Bhīṣma sprach: „Höre, o Makelloser, wie ich die vollständige Vorschrift und den ganzen Vollzug dieses heiligen Mantras darlege. O Bester der Pāṇḍavas: Wer es vernimmt, wird von allen Sünden befreit.“
