Educational Q&A

True devotion to Puruṣottama, supported by accumulated merit and right conduct, naturally weakens and removes inner vices—anger, envy, and greed—and keeps the intellect from turning toward impure or harmful aims.

In Anuśāsana Parva, Bhishma instructs Yudhiṣṭhira on dharma and virtuous living. Here he describes the ethical and psychological traits that characterize devotees devoted to the Supreme Person.
