Adhyāya 152 — Bhīṣma’s Authorization for Yudhiṣṭhira’s Return to the Capital (नगरप्रवेशानुज्ञा)

शुश्रूषां परिचारं च देववद्‌ या करोति च । नान्यभावा हाविमना: सुव्रता सुखदर्शना

śuśrūṣāṃ paricāraṃ ca devavad yā karoti ca | nānyabhāvā hāvimanaḥ suvratā sukhadarśanā ||

Śrī Maheśvara sprach: „Die Frau, die ihrem Gatten mit aufmerksamer Hingabe dient und ihn persönlich umsorgt wie eine Gottheit—deren Sinn sich nicht anderswohin wendet, frei von schwankendem Entschluss—eine solche, standhaft in ihren Gelübden und sanft anzuschauen, verkörpert das häusliche Dharma der hingebungsvollen Pflichterfüllung.“
