कल्मषापहर-कीर्तनम् / Kīrtana for the Removal of Impurity

श्रीमहेश्वर उवाच आगमा लोकधर्माणां मर्यादा: सर्वनिर्मिता: । प्रामाण्येनानुवर्तन्ते दृश्यन्ते च दूढब्रता:

Transliteration

śrīmaheśvara uvāca āgamā lokadharmāṇāṁ maryādāḥ sarvanirmitāḥ | prāmāṇyenānuvartante dṛśyante ca dūḍhabratāḥ ||

Translation

Śrī Maheshvara sprach: „Die maßgeblichen Überlieferungen (Āgamas) sind die Grenzen und Maßstäbe, die für die Lebensordnungen der Welt festgesetzt wurden. Die Menschen folgen ihnen, weil sie als gültige Erkenntnisquellen gelten; und man sieht, dass die Festgelobten ihnen standhaft anhängen.“
