Educational Q&A

A life grounded in dharma bears a transcendent फल (result): the dharmātmā attains joyful residence among the gods and is honored with continual companionship in the heroic realm. Ethical integrity is portrayed as leading not only to personal peace but also to exalted posthumous status and noble association.

Śrī Maheśvara is describing the destiny of a dharmātmā after death: such a person reaches heaven (divi), lives happily with the deva-hosts, and also abides in vīraloka, remaining in constant fellowship with heroes.
