Viṣṇu-sahasranāma—Yudhiṣṭhira’s Inquiry and Bhīṣma’s Recitation (विष्णोर्नामसहस्रम्)
2 अं ड-ऑ का त्रिशर्दाधिकशततमो<्ध्याय: अरुन्धती
bhīṣma uvāca | tatastvṛṣigaṇāḥ sarve pitaraś ca sadevatāḥ | arundhatīṃ tapovṛddhām apṛcchanta samāhitāḥ ||
Bhīṣma sprach: Darauf traten alle Scharen der Seher, zusammen mit den Pitṛs und den Göttern, an Arundhatī heran — durch Askese zu Größe gelangt — und befragten sie mit völlig gesammeltem Geist, begierig, aus ihrem Mund das tiefste Geheimnis des Dharma zu vernehmen.
