एतद् व: कथितं गुह्ममखिलेन तपोधना: । संशयं पृच्छमानानां कि भूय: कथयाम्यहम्,“तपोधनो! तुमलोगोंने जो संशय पूछा है, उसके समाधानके लिये मैंने यह सारा गूढ़ रहस्य तुम्हें बताया है। बताओ और क्या कहूँ”
etad vaḥ kathitaṃ guhyam akhilena tapodhanāḥ | saṃśayaṃ pṛcchamānānāṃ kiṃ bhūyaḥ kathayāmy aham ||
Bhishma sprach: „O ihr, reich an Askese, um die Zweifel zu lösen, nach denen ihr fragtet, habe ich euch diese ganze geheime Lehre vollständig offenbart. Was sollte ich noch sagen?“
