परितुष्टो भवाम्येवं मानुषाणां महात्मनाम्‌ | तन्मां ये पूजयिष्यन्ति नास्ति तेषां पराभव:

Transliteration

parituṣṭo bhavāmy evaṁ mānuṣāṇāṁ mahātmanām | tan māṁ ye pūjayiṣyanti nāsti teṣāṁ parābhavaḥ ||

Translation

Bhishma sprach: „So werde ich an edelmütigen Menschen völlig zufrieden. Wer mich verehrt—für den gibt es keine Niederlage.“
