मानसतीर्थ-शौचप्रशंसा | Praise of the ‘Mental Tīrtha’ and the Marks of Purity
ऊर्ध्व विचित्रसंकाशे नैको वसति पूजित: । जिस विमानपर वह विराजमान होता है
ūrdhva-vicitra-saṅkāśe naiko vasati pūjitaḥ | yāvad varṣa-sahasraṃ vai jambūdvīpe pravarṣati ||
Bhīṣma sprach: „In einem erhabenen himmlischen Palast, dessen oberer Teil wundersam bunt schillert, wohnt mehr als ein Geehrter. Solange tausend Jahre lang Regen auf Jambudvīpa fällt, so lange verweilt jener Verehrungswürdige dort—glänzend in seinem strahlenden Luftwagen—und genießt Ansehen und Gemeinschaft als Frucht verdienstvollen Handelns.“
