मानसतीर्थ-शौचप्रशंसा | Praise of the ‘Mental Tīrtha’ and the Marks of Purity

स्वयंप्रभाभिनरिीभिर्विमानस्थो महीयते

svayaṃprabhābhinārībhiḥ vimānastho mahīyate | nānāmadhurabhāṣābhiḥ nānārātibhir eva ca ||

Bhīṣma sprach: „In einem himmlischen Wagen (Vimāna) sitzend, wird er von strahlenden göttlichen Jungfrauen geehrt, die aus eigenem Glanz leuchten. Mit vielerlei süßen Worten und mannigfachen Wonnen und Vergnügungen schmücken und bedienen sie ihn—ein Bild der verfeinerten Genüsse, die, so heißt es, die Früchte verdienstvollen Handelns begleiten.“
