मानसतीर्थ-शौचप्रशंसा | Praise of the ‘Mental Tīrtha’ and the Marks of Purity
स रथैनन्दिघोषैश्न पृष्ठतो हानुगम्यते । देवकन्यासमारूढै: काउ्चनैर्विमलै: शुभै:
sa rathair nandighoṣaiś ca pṛṣṭhato 'nugamyate | devakanyā-samārūḍhaiḥ kāñcanaiḥ vimalaiḥ śubhaiḥ ||
Bhīṣma sprach: „Hinter ihm folgen viele Wagen, die mit freudigen Siegesrufen widerhallen, ihr Dröhnen tief wie das der Donnerwolken. Auf jenen goldenen Wagen—makellos rein und glückverheißend—fahren himmlische Jungfrauen. Die Stelle ruft die sittliche Frucht des Dharma in Erinnerung, besonders die Wirkung von Gaben (dāna) und disziplinierter Übung: als strahlender, geordneter Zug, der den Gerechten ehrt und sein Verdienst verkündet.“
