Educational Q&A

Maintain mental steadiness and propriety during meals—do not indulge suspicion about what you are eating—and follow disciplined dietary conduct; for one seeking well-being, curd is not recommended as the concluding drink after eating.

In the Anushasana Parva’s instruction on dharma and right conduct, Bhishma continues advising Yudhishthira with practical rules for daily life, here giving etiquette/health-oriented guidance connected to eating.
