नहुषोपाख्यानम्—दीपदान-धूप-बलीकर्म-प्रशंसा

ब्रह्मणा राजशार्दूल यथापूर्व व्यरोचत । राजसिंह! भगवान्‌ ब्रह्माके द्वारा देवरराजके पदपर अभिषिक्त हो शतक्रतु इन्द्र फिर पूर्ववत्‌ शोभा पाने लगे

brahmaṇā rājaśārdūla yathāpūrva vyarocata | rājasiṃha! bhagavān brahmaṇā devarājasya padapar abhiṣiktaḥ śatakratur indraḥ punaḥ pūrvavat śobhāṃ prāpa (vyarocata) |

Bhīṣma sprach: „O Tiger unter den Königen, wie zuvor begann er wieder zu leuchten. O Löwe unter den Königen, als der selige Brahmā ihn in das Amt des Königs der Götter einweihte, gewann Indra—Vollbringer von hundert Opfern—seinen früheren Glanz zurück.“
