Āloka-dāna (Dīpa-dāna), Sumanas–Dhūpa–Dīpa Phala: Manu–Suvarṇa and Śukra–Bali Exempla

बलय: सह पुष्पैस्तु देवानामुपहारयेत्‌ । दधिदुग्धमया: पुण्या: सुगंधा: प्रियदर्शना:,देवताओंको जो बलि दी जाय, वह दही-दूधकी बनी हुई, परम पवित्र, सुगंधित, दर्शनीय और फूलोंसे सुशोभित होनी चाहिये

balayaḥ saha puṣpaistu devānām upahārayet | dadhidugdhamayāḥ puṇyāḥ sugandhāḥ priyadarśanāḥ ||

Śukra sprach: „Man soll den Göttern Opfergaben zusammen mit Blumen darbringen. Die Oblationen sollen aus Quark und Milch bestehen—rein, duftend und schön anzusehen.“
