Householder Duties and Daily Offerings
सिद्धान्नाद् वैश्वदेवं वै कुर्यादगनौ यथाविधि,सिद्ध अन्न (तैयार हुई रसोई) मेंसे अन्न लेकर उसके द्वारा विधिपूर्वक बलिवैश्वदेव कर्म करना चाहिये
siddhān nād vaiśvadevaṃ vai kuryād agnau yathāvidhi
Vāyu sprach: „Von der bereits gekochten, zum Servieren bereiten Speise soll man einen Anteil nehmen und im heiligen Feuer das Vaiśvadeva-Opfer nach Vorschrift darbringen.“ Die Lehre betont, dass das tägliche Hausleben dann dharmisch wird, wenn man zuerst einen Teil seiner Nahrung dem Göttlichen und allen Wesen weiht, statt sie nur für sich selbst zu verzehren.
