उपदेशदोषप्रसङ्गः (Upadeśa-doṣa-prasaṅgaḥ) — The Risk of Misapplied Counsel

निदर्शनमिदं राजन्‌ शृणु मे भरतर्षभ । दुरुक्तवचने राजन्‌ यथापूर्व युधिष्ठिर,भरतभूषण राजा युधिष्ठिर! इस विषयमें एक दृष्टान्त सुनो, जो दुःखमें पड़े हुए एक नीच जातिके पुरुषको उपदेश देनेसे सम्बन्धित है

nidārśanam idaṃ rājan śṛṇu me bharatarṣabha | duruktavacane rājan yathāpūrva yudhiṣṭhira ||

Bhīṣma sprach: „O König, Stier unter den Bharatas, höre von mir dieses Beispiel. O König Yudhiṣṭhira, wie es von alters her erzählt wurde, handelt es von den Folgen harter und übel gesprochener Worte.“
