मनस्युरभवत्‌ तस्माच्छूरसेनीसुत: प्रभु: । पृथिव्याश्षतुरन्ताया गोप्ता राजीवलोचन:,प्रवीरके पुत्रका नाम मनस्यु था, जो शूरसेनीके पुत्र और शक्तिशाली थे। कमलके समान नेत्रवाले मनस्युने चारों समुद्रोंसे घिरी हुई समस्त पृथ्वीका पालन किया

Transliteration

vaiśampāyana uvāca |

manasyur abhavat tasmāc chūrasenīsutaḥ prabhuḥ |

pṛthivyāś caturantāyā goptā rājīvalocanaḥ ||

Translation

Vaiśampāyana sprach: Von ihm wurde Manasyu geboren, der mächtige Sohn der Śūrasenī. Lotusäugig wurde Manasyu zum Schutzherrn und Herrscher der ganzen Erde, die von den Meeren in den vier Himmelsrichtungen umgrenzt ist, und wahrte die königliche Ordnung im gesamten Reich.
