Chapter 74: Non-anger, Forbearance, and the Ethics of Residence
त्रिषु वर्षेषु पूर्णेषु प्रजाताहमरिंदम । इमं कुमार राजेन्द्र तव शोकविनाशनम्,'शत्रुओंका दमन करनेवाले सम्राट! मैंने पूरे तीन वर्षोतक अपने गर्भमें धारण करनेके पश्चात् आपके इस पुत्रको जन्म दिया है। यह आपके शोकका विनाश करनेवाला होगा। पौरव! पहले जब मैं सौरमें थी, उस समय आकाशवाणीने मुझसे कहा था कि यह बालक सौ अश्वमेध यज्ञोंका अनुष्ठान करनेवाला होगा
triṣu varṣeṣu pūrṇeṣu prajāto ’ham ariṃdama | imaṃ kumāra rājendra tava śokavināśanam ||
O Bezwinger der Feinde, als drei volle Jahre verstrichen waren, gebar ich diesen Knaben. O Bester der Könige, dieser Prinz wird deinen Kummer vertreiben.
