Chapter 74: Non-anger, Forbearance, and the Ethics of Residence

योडन्यथा सन्‍्तमात्मानमन्यथा प्रतिपद्यते । कि तेन न कृतं पापं चौरेणात्मापहारिणा,“(आपका स्वरूप तो कुछ और है” परंतु आप बन कुछ और रहे हैं।। जो अपने असली स्वरूपको छिपाकर अपनेको कुछ-का-कुछ दिखाता है, अपने आत्माका अपहरण करनेवाले उस चोरने कौन-सा पाप नहीं किया?

Translation

Dein wahres Wesen ist das eine, doch du gibst dich als etwas anderes aus. Welche Sünde hätte jener Dieb nicht begangen, der sich selbst beraubt—der sein eigentliches Selbst verbirgt und sich als etwas anderes zeigt?
