Chapter 74: Non-anger, Forbearance, and the Ethics of Residence
तस्माद् भवत्वयं नाम्ना भरतो नाम ते सुतः । “पौरव! यह महामना बालक शकुन्तला और दृष्यन्त दोनोंका पुत्र है। हम देवताओंके कहनेसे तुम इसका भरण-पोषण करोगे, इसलिये तुम्हारा यह पुत्र भरतके नामसे विख्यात होगा”
tasmād bhavatv ayaṁ nāmnā bharato nāma te sutaḥ |
Vaiśampāyana sprach: „Darum soll dieser dein Sohn unter dem Namen Bharata bekannt sein. Denn auf Geheiß der Götter wirst du seine Versorgung und Erziehung übernehmen; so wird er als Bharata berühmt werden.“
