Chapter 74: Non-anger, Forbearance, and the Ethics of Residence
नास्ति सत्यसमो धर्मो न सत्याद् विद्यते परम् न हि तीव्रतरं किंचिदनृतादिह विद्यते,सत्यके समान कोई धर्म नहीं है। सत्यसे उत्तम कुछ भी नहीं है और झूठसे बढ़कर तीव्रतर पाप इस जगत्में दूसरा कोई नहीं है
nāsti satyasamo dharmo na satyād vidyate param | na hi tīvrataraṃ kiṃcid anṛtād iha vidyate ||
Duṣyanta sprach: „Es gibt keine Pflicht, die der Wahrheit gleichkäme. Nichts ist höher als die Wahrheit. Und in dieser Welt gibt es keine Sünde, die schwerer und schneidender wäre als die Lüge.“
