कच-देवयानी संवादः

Kaca–Devayānī Dialogue and the Curse on Vidyā

न्यमन्त्रयत चाप्येनां सा चाप्यैच्छदनिन्दिता । तौ तत्र सुचिरं कालमुभौ व्यहरतां तदा

nyamantrayac cāpy enāṃ sā cāpy aicchad aninditā | tau tatra suciraṃ kālam ubhau vyaharatāṃ tadā ||

Kaṇva sprach: Er bat sie, ihn anzunehmen, und auch sie — untadelig im Wandel — willigte ein. Dort, an jenem Ort, lebten die beiden lange Zeit zusammen und verbrachten ihre Tage in gegenseitiger Gemeinschaft.
