Śakuntalā-Janma-Nāmakaraṇa (Birth and Naming of Śakuntalā) | शकुन्तला-जन्म-नामकरणम्

रुद्राणामपर: पक्ष: साध्यानां मरुतां तथा । वसूनां भार्गव विद्याद्‌ विश्वेदेवांस्तथैव च,रुद्रोंका एक अलग पक्ष या गण है, साध्य, मरुत्‌ तथा वसुओंका भी पृथक्‌- पृथक्‌ गण है। इसी प्रकार भार्गव तथा विश्वेदेवणणको भी जानना चाहिये

rudrāṇām aparaḥ pakṣaḥ sādhyānāṁ marutāṁ tathā | vasūnāṁ bhārgava vidyād viśvedevāṁs tathaiva ca ||

Vaiśampāyana sprach: „Es gibt eine eigene Einteilung der Rudras; ebenso sind getrennte Einteilungen für die Sādhyas, die Maruts und die Vasus zu verstehen. In gleicher Weise soll man auch die Bhārgavas und die Viśvedevas als eigene Klassen erkennen.“
