Śakuntalā-Janma-Nāmakaraṇa (Birth and Naming of Śakuntalā) | शकुन्तला-जन्म-नामकरणम्
अनिलस्य शिवा भार्या तस्या: पुत्रो मनोजव: । अविज्ञातगतिश्चैव द्वौ पुत्रावनिलस्य तु,अनिलकी भार्याका नाम शिवा है। उसके दो पुत्र हैं--मनोजव तथा अविज्ञातगति। इस प्रकार अनिलके दो पुत्र कहे गये हैं
anilasya śivā bhāryā tasyāḥ putro manojavaḥ | avijñātagatiś caiva dvau putrāv anilasya tu ||
Vaiśampāyana sprach: Anila (der Windgott) hat eine Gemahlin namens Śivā. Von ihr wurden seine beiden Söhne geboren: Manojava („schnell wie der Geist“) und Avijñātagati („von unergründlichem Lauf“). So wird Anila als Vater dieser zwei Söhne geschildert.
