यदा प्रसन्नो भगवान्‌ महादेवो भविष्यति । तदा तुभ्य॑ प्रदास्यामि पाण्डवास्त्राणि सर्वश:,(वे बोले--) 'पाण्डुनन्दन! जब तुमपर भगवान्‌ महादेव प्रसन्न होंगे, तब मैं तुम्हें सब प्रकारके अस्त्र-शस्त्र प्रदान करूँगा

Transliteration

yadā prasanno bhagavān mahādevo bhaviṣyati | tadā tubhyaṁ pradāsyāmi pāṇḍavāstrāṇi sarvaśaḥ ||

Translation

Vaiśampāyana sprach: „O Sohn des Pāṇḍu! Wenn der erhabene Mahādeva (Śiva) dir gewogen ist, dann werde ich dir in jeder Hinsicht die ganze Fülle der Waffen und Geschosse der Pāṇḍavas verleihen.“
