The verse emphasizes a social-ethical ideal in the epic context: a woman who is still capable of household life is urged to align her life with her husband and thereby sustain family continuity and lineage through worthy offspring.
The speaker addresses a woman as “mother,” noting her youth and attractiveness, and counsels her to pursue or follow her husband; the reassurance given is that she will again obtain good sons, highlighting concerns of progeny and family succession.
