जरितोवाच अहं तमभिजानामि हद्तं श्येनेन मूषिकम् । नास्ति वोअत्र भयं पुत्रा: क्रियतां वचनं मम,जरिताने कहा--बेटो! मैं जानती हूँ, बाजने अवश्य चूहेको पकड़ लिया। तुमलोग मेरी बात मानो। इस बिलनें तुम्हें कोई भय नहीं है
jaritovāca — ahaṃ tam abhijānāmi hṛtaṃ śyena-mūṣikam | nāsti vo 'tra bhayaṃ putrāḥ, kriyatāṃ vacanaṃ mama ||
Jarītā sprach: „Ich erkenne, was geschehen ist: Der Habicht hat jene Maus tatsächlich gepackt. Fürchtet euch hier nicht, meine Kinder. Tut, was ich euch sage.“
