त॑ तु धौम्यादयो विप्रा: परिवार्योपतस्थिरे । बृहस्पतिसमा मुख्या: प्रजापतिमिवामरा:,जैसे बृहस्पति-सदृश मुख्य-मुख्य देवता प्रजापतिकी सेवामें उपस्थित होते हैं, उसी प्रकार धौम्य आदि ब्राह्मण राजा युधिष्ठिरको सब ओरसे घेरकर बैठते थे
te tu dhaumyādayo viprāḥ parivāryopatasthire | bṛhaspati-samā mukhyāḥ prajāpati-mivāmarāḥ ||
Dann versammelten sich jene Brahmanen—an der Spitze Dhaumya—um ihn und standen ihm dienend zur Seite. Die Vornehmsten unter ihnen, Bṛhaspati vergleichbar, traten in seinen Dienst, wie die Götter Prajāpati dienen; so umgaben diese Weisen den König und boten Rat und Beistand gemäß dem Dharma.
