वैशग्पायन उवाच एवमुक्त: स धर्मात्मा ब्राह्मण: शुभकर्मकृत्‌ । प्रसादं कृतवान्‌ वीर रविसोमसमप्रभ:,वैशम्पायनजी कहते हैं--वीरवर! उनके ऐसा कहनेपर सूर्य और चन्द्रमाके समान तेजस्वी तथा शुभ कर्म करनेवाले उन धर्मात्मा ब्राह्मणने उन सबपर कृपा की

vaiśampāyana uvāca | evam uktaḥ sa dharmātmā brāhmaṇaḥ śubhakarmakṛt | prasādaṃ kṛtavān vīra ravi-soma-samaprabhaḥ |

Vaiśampāyana sprach: „So angesprochen, o Held, erwies jener brāhmaṇa von rechtschaffener Seele—vollbringer glückverheißender Taten, strahlend wie Sonne und Mond—ihnen allen seine Gunst.“
