Kadrū’s Hymn to Indra and the Nāgas’ Distress
The verse elevates the idea of a sacred, divine source—described as immeasurable and inconceivable—whose purity and merit-bearing waters symbolize transcendent sanctity and the limits of ordinary human cognition when approaching the divine.
Śaunaka is describing (in laudatory terms) a supreme, wondrous repository associated with amṛta and the immortals, emphasizing its auspiciousness, divinity, and extraordinary purity as part of the ongoing account being discussed in the Adi Parva.
