विदुरस्य द्रुपदसमीपगमनम् — Vidura Conveys Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Message to Drupada
तत् सर्व प्रतिजग्राह धर्मराजो युधिष्ठिर: । मुदा परमया युक्तो गोविन्दप्रियकाम्यया,धर्मराज युधिष्ठिरने अत्यन्त प्रसन्न होकर भगवान् श्रीकृष्णकी प्रसन्नताके लिये वह सारा उपहार ग्रहण कर लिया
tat sarvaṁ pratijagrāha dharmarājo yudhiṣṭhiraḥ | mudā paramayā yukto govinda-priya-kāmyayā ||
Vaiśampāyana sprach: „König Yudhiṣṭhira, der Dharmarāja, nahm all diese Gaben mit höchster Freude an, getragen von dem Wunsch, Govinda (Śrī Kṛṣṇa) zu erfreuen.“
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights that the ethical value of receiving wealth or gifts depends on intention and alignment with dharma. Yudhiṣṭhira’s acceptance is portrayed as disciplined and devotional—done to honor and please Govinda, not from personal craving.
In the ongoing account narrated by Vaiśampāyana, Yudhiṣṭhira receives and accepts the entire set of offerings presented to him. His emotional state is emphasized: he accepts with great joy, specifically wishing to bring satisfaction to Govinda (Kṛṣṇa).
