Draupadī’s Arrival, Kuntī’s Unintended Utterance, and the Decision for Fraternal Unity
True hospitality and dharma do not depend on luxury: even simple forest offerings become honorable when given with respect, and rightful duties—such as accepting priestly responsibility—are fulfilled with integrity.
Dhaumya welcomes a group (previously mentioned in context), honors them with available forest food (fruits and roots), and formally accepts the role of their purohita, thereby completing their reception both materially and ritually.
