अर्जुनस्य लक्ष्यवेधः
Arjuna’s Hitting of the Target at the Svayaṃvara
कि हि वित्तेन नः कार्य स्वर्गेप्सूनां द्विजोत्तम । यदस्माकं धनाध्यक्ष: प्रभूतं धनमाहरत्,द्विजश्रेष्ठ) (यदि ऐसी बात न होती तो) स्वर्ग-लोककी इच्छावाले हम भार्गवोंको धनसे क्या काम था; क्योंकि साक्षात् कुबेरने हमें प्रचुर धनराशि लाकर दी थी
ki hi vittena naḥ kāryaṃ svargepsūnāṃ dvijottama | yad asmākaṃ dhanādhyakṣaḥ prabhūtaṃ dhanam āharat ||
„Was hätten wir mit Reichtum zu schaffen, o Bester der Zweimalgeborenen, wir, die wir den Himmel erstreben? Denn unser Schatzmeister – Kubera selbst – hatte uns bereits einen überreichen Vorrat an Gütern gebracht.“
