Cause of Kalmāṣapāda’s Niyoga under a Curse
रुरुचे साधिकं सुभ्रूरापतन्ती नभस्तलात् | सौदामिनीव विजश्रष्टा द्योतयन्ती दिशस्त्विषा,सुन्दर भौंहोंवाली तपती आकाशसे पृथ्वीपर आते समय गिरी हुई बिजलीके समान सम्पूर्ण दिशाओंको अपनी प्रभासे प्रकाशित करती हुई अधिक सुशोभित हो रही थी
ruruce sādhikaṃ subhrūr āpatantī nabhastalāt | saudāminīv vijasraṣṭā dyotayantī diśas tviṣā ||
Vasiṣṭha sprach: „Die schönbrauige Jungfrau, aus der Weite des Himmels herabsteigend, leuchtete in überragendem Glanz. Wie ein Blitz, der aus den Wolken herabfällt, erhellte sie mit ihrem Strahlen alle Himmelsrichtungen—und je mehr sie zur Erde kam, desto herrlicher erschien ihre Schönheit.“
