तस्मै पौत्रान् समादाय वसूनि विविधानि च । प्राप्ताय प्रददौ भीष्म: शिष्यान् द्रोणाय धीमते,वहाँ जानेपर बुद्धिमान द्रोणको नाना प्रकारके धन लेकर भीष्मजीने अपने सभी पौत्रोंको उन्हें शिष्यरूपमें सौंप दिया
tasmai pautrān samādāya vasūni vividhāni ca | prāptāya pradadau bhīṣmaḥ śiṣyān droṇāya dhīmate ||
Als Bhīṣma den weisen Droṇa erreichte, brachte er seine Enkel und mannigfaltige Reichtümer mit und übergab ihm feierlich all jene Jünglinge als Schüler.
