वीरेणाहं तथानेन त्वया चापि यशस्विनि । प्रत्याख्याता न जीवामि सत्यमेतद् ब्रवीमि ते,“यशस्विनि! यदि ये वीरवर भीमसेन या आप मेरी इस प्रार्थनाको ठुकरा देंगी तो मैं जीवित नहीं रह सकूँगी। यह मैं आपसे सत्य कहती हूँ
vīreṇāhaṃ tathānena tvayā cāpi yaśasvini | pratyākhyātā na jīvāmi satyam etad bravīmi te ||
„O ruhmreiche Dame, wenn ich von jenem Helden — und auch von dir — zurückgewiesen werde, kann ich nicht weiterleben. Wahrhaftig sage ich dir dies.“
