संवाससमयो जीर्ण इत्याभाष्य ततस्तु तान्‌ | हिडिम्बा समयं कृत्वा स्वां गतिं प्रत्यपद्यत,तदनन्तर हिडिम्बा पाण्डवोंसे यह कहकर कि भीमसेनके साथ रहनेका मेरा समय समाप्त हो गया, आवश्यकताके समय पुनः मिलनेकी प्रतिज्ञा करके अपने अभीष्ट स्थानको चली गयी

Transliteration

saṃvāsasamayo jīrṇa ity ābhāṣya tatas tu tān | hiḍimbā samayaṃ kṛtvā svāṃ gatiṃ pratyapadyata ||

Translation

Vaiśampāyana sprach: Nachdem sie zu ihnen gesagt hatte: „Die Zeit meines Zusammenlebens ist verstrichen“, legte Hiḍimbā ein Gelübde ab, bei Bedarf wieder zu erscheinen, und zog dann in ihre ihr bestimmte Wohnstatt davon.
