The verse highlights dhārmic mentorship and respectful conduct: Vidura repeatedly instructs the Pāṇḍavas about their duties, and his leave-taking—seeking permission and performing pradakṣiṇā—models humility, reverence, and proper social-ethical etiquette.
Vidura accompanies the Pāṇḍavas for a short distance after advising them, then formally takes their leave. He honors them through pradakṣiṇā (circumambulation with them on his right) and returns to his home.
