भीमस्य जलान्वेषणं तथा वनविश्रान्तिः

ततो हलहलाशब्द आसीत् पाञ्चालके बले । जिघृक्षति महासिंहो गजानामिव यूथपम्,और जैसे महासिंह हाथियोंके यूथपतिको पकड़नेकी चेष्टा करता है, उसी प्रकार अर्जुन द्रपदको पकड़ना ही चाहते थे कि पांचालोंकी सेनामें हाहाकार मच गया

Vaiśampāyana sprach: Da erhob sich im Heer der Pāñcāla ein lauter Schrei der Bestürzung. Wie ein großer Löwe danach trachtet, den Anführer einer Elefantenherde zu packen, so war Arjuna darauf bedacht, Drupada zu ergreifen; und in eben diesem Augenblick erfasste ein Aufruhr die Reihen der Pāñcāla.
