Adhyāya 125: Raṅga-pradarśana — Arjuna’s Entry and Astric Demonstration (रङ्गप्रदर्शनम्)

तत एनां बलादू राजा निजग्राह रहो गताम्‌ । वार्यमाणस्तया देव्या विस्फुरन्त्या यथाबलम्‌,अतः एकान्तमें मिली हुई माद्रीको महाराज पाण्डुने बलपूर्वक पकड़ लिया। देवी माद्री राजाकी पकड़से छूटनेके लिये यथाशक्ति चेष्टा करती हुई उन्हें बार-बार रोक रही थी

tata enāṃ balādū rājā nijagrāha raho gatām | vāryamāṇas tayā devyā visphurantyā yathābalam ||

Da er sie allein an einem abgeschiedenen Ort fand, packte der König sie mit Gewalt. Die edle Frau bemühte sich mit aller Kraft, sich zu befreien, und hielt ihn wieder und wieder zurück, indem sie Einspruch erhob.
