स्वर्ग मनुजशार्दूल गच्छेयं सहिता त्वया । अपत्याय च मां गच्छ त्वमेव कुरुनन्दन,“नरश्रेष्ठ! मैं आपके साथ ही स्वर्गलोकमें चलूँगी। कुरुनन्दन! पुत्रकी उत्पत्तिके लिये आप ही मेरे साथ समागम कीजिये
svargaṁ manujaśārdūla gaccheyaṁ sahitā tvayā | apatyāya ca māṁ gaccha tvam eva kurunandana ||
Vaiśampāyana sprach: „O Tiger unter den Menschen, nur gemeinsam mit dir will ich in den Himmel gehen. Und, o Freude der Kurus, um Nachkommen zu zeugen, sollst du selbst dich mit mir vereinen.“
