न मा्महसि धर्मज्ञ वक्तुमेवं कथंचन । धर्मपत्नीमभिरतां त्वयि राजीवलोचने,“धर्मज्ञ! आप मुझसे किसी तरह ऐसी बात न कहें; मैं आपकी धर्मपत्नी हूँ और कमलके समान विशाल नेत्रोंवाले आपमें ही अनुराग रखती हूँ
na māṁ mahasi dharmajña vaktum evaṁ kathaṁcana | dharmapatnīm abhiratāṁ tvayi rājīvalocane ||
Sie sprach: „O Kenner des Dharma, sprich in keiner Weise so zu mir. Ich bin deine rechtmäßige Gattin nach dem Dharma, und, o Lotosäugiger, meine Liebe und Treue sind allein auf dich gerichtet.“
