Educational Q&A

The verse highlights ethical communication: one should seek clarification from a trustworthy elder and, when questioned, respond with complete and truthful disclosure. It models responsible inquiry and responsible answering as part of dharma.

Ruru, having recovered his senses, returns home and reports what occurred to his father. He then asks about the relevant story/account, and his father, in response to the question, narrates the entire matter.
