त्वया नृशंसकर्तार: पापाचाराश्न मानवा: । निग्राह्या: पार्थिवश्रेष्ठ त्रिवर्गपरिवर्जिता:,नृूपशिरोमणे! तुम्हारा कर्तव्य तो यह है कि धर्म, अर्थ और कामसे हीन जो पापाचारी मनुष्य कठोरतापूर्ण कर्म करनेवाले हों, उन्हें दण्ड दो

tvayā nṛśaṃsakartāraḥ pāpācārāś ca mānavāḥ | nigrāhyāḥ pārthivaśreṣṭha trivargaparivarjitāḥ nṛpaśiromaṇe ||

O bester der Könige, Kleinod unter den Herrschern: Deine Pflicht ist es, jene sündigen Menschen zu zügeln und zu bestrafen, die grausame Taten begehen und in bösem Wandel leben, fern der drei Lebensziele — Dharma, Artha und Kāma.
