Pāṇḍu’s Marriages, Conquests, and Triumphal Return (पाण्डोर्विवाह-विजय-प्रत्यागमनम्)
न ते शक््यमनाख्यातुमापद्धर्म तथाविधम् । त्वमेव नः कुले धर्मस्त्वं सत्यं त्वं परा गति:,'ऐसे आपद्धर्मको देखकर वह बात तुम्हें बताये बिना मैं नहीं रह सकती। तुम्हीं हमारे कुलमें मूर्तिमान् धर्म हो, तुम्हीं सत्य हो और तुम्हीं परम गति हो
na te śakyam anākhyātum āpaddharma tathāvidham | tvam eva naḥ kule dharmas tvaṃ satyaṃ tvaṃ parā gatiḥ ||
„Ich kann nicht umhin, dir von einem Dharma zu berichten, wie er in Zeiten der Not gilt. Du allein bist die lebendige Verkörperung der Rechtschaffenheit in unserem Geschlecht; du bist die Wahrheit selbst, und du bist unsere höchste Zuflucht und unser letztes Ziel.“
