The verse highlights dharmic conduct through humility and readiness to serve: one should align action with righteous intention, seek guidance from those who understand dharma, and perform duties in a way that is pleasing and beneficial rather than self-willed.
The speaker expresses willingness to fulfill the addressee’s heartfelt wish, asking for explicit instruction. The tone is deferential: he acknowledges her as a knower of dharma and requests direction about what service to perform.
