यतिप्रायश्चित्तविधानम्

Ascetic Atonements and Discipline

यदेतद्द्रविणं नाम प्राणा ह्येते बहिश्चराः स तस्य हरते प्राणान् यो यस्य हरते धनम्

yadetaddraviṇaṃ nāma prāṇā hyete bahiścarāḥ sa tasya harate prāṇān yo yasya harate dhanam

Was „Reichtum“ genannt wird, ist in Wahrheit das eigene prāṇa, der Lebenshauch, der nach außen in die Welt hinauswirkt. Darum gilt: Wer das Gut eines anderen stiehlt, stiehlt dessen prāṇa—er beraubt den paśu (die gebundene Seele) der Stützen, durch die das Leben getragen wird, und vertieft so das pāśa (Band), entgegen dem Gesetz des Pati, Śiva.
