Shloka 23

अग्नित्रय-पितृवंश-रुद्रसृष्टि-वैराग्योपदेशः

अणोस्तु विषयत्यागः संसारभयतः क्रमात् वैराग्याज्जायते पुंसो विरागो दर्शनान्तरे

aṇostu viṣayatyāgaḥ saṃsārabhayataḥ kramāt vairāgyājjāyate puṃso virāgo darśanāntare

Aus Furcht vor dem Saṃsāra beginnt man—Schritt für Schritt—selbst mit der kleinsten Entsagung von Sinnesobjekten. Aus diesem Vairāgya erwächst im Menschen eine tiefere Loslösung und ein verwandelnder Wandel der Sicht hin zu einer anderen Weise des Sehens.
