अविद्या-पञ्चक, नवसर्ग-क्रमः, प्रजापति-प्रसवः

ऊर्जा वसिष्ठाद्वै लेभे सुतांश् च सुतवत्सला ज्यायसी पुण्डरीकाक्षान् वासिष्ठान् वरलोचना

ūrjā vasiṣṭhādvai lebhe sutāṃś ca sutavatsalā jyāyasī puṇḍarīkākṣān vāsiṣṭhān varalocanā

Ūrjā, die ältere Gattin, kinderlieb und schönäugig, gebar Vasiṣṭha Söhne — die Vāsiṣṭhas — berühmt als Puṇḍarīkākṣas. So setzte sich die Linie in geordneter Folge fort unter Pati, dem Herrn, der das Dharma trägt.
